The C&O Canal was a place that before I had gone there and experienced it first hand I held in the vein of contempt. The United States Congress purchased the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath was in 1936 for the sum of $2 million. Thanks to this foresight all Americans have a fantastic heritage area that preserves history, bioregions, and is connecting rural communities to new economic opportunties.
I spent 16 months traveling to different spots, talking with people, and getting to know local hangouts, favorite fishing holes, and recreational hotspots to create an intimate and authentic video to highlight some of what Washington County, Maryland has to offer visitors and residents alike.
Selecting wines together, for an event we were hosting, when one of us doesn't drink alcohol was challenging and an enjoyable learning experience. I discovered that this was an unexpected way to create quality connections together while making memories, and learning about our region.
